Jason R. Kaplan, DDS, MS
Dr. Kaplan believes a bright energetic smile is as good as breakfast to jumpstart your day. We work very hard to design each smile using the most contemporary techniques, education and materials. Dr. Kaplan graduated from White Station High School in Memphis, Tennessee. Four years later after completing a BA degree at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, he returned to Memphis and entered the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry. Dr. Kaplan received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from UT and then headed north to the University of Detroit Mercy for his orthodontic training. While there he was awarded a certificate in orthodontics and completed his masters’ thesis on maxillary and mandibular expansion performed in the mixed dentition (ages 7-10).
Dr. Kaplan is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and maintains memberships with the American Association of Orthodontists, the Southern Association of Orthodontists, the Georgia Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association and the Georgia Dental Association. Dr. Kaplan is currently the president of the Atlanta chapter of the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity and the Co-Chairman of the Georgia Damon Study Club.
Dr. Kaplan actively supports neighborhood school fundraising events and is currently a Partner in Education with Vanderlyn Elementary. Dr. Kaplan enjoys swimming, traveling, reading and watching movies. Leanne and Dr. Kaplan have two sons, Matthew and Pace who bring much joy to their lives.
