Matthew W won his elementary school track meet, 1st place in the long jump!! Way to go! Also Matthew’s team won their baseball tournament! Great Job Matthew!

Dunwoody High School:
Patients of ours from Dunwoody High School had an amazing achievement recently! The DHS Academic Team finished 4th in the Georgia AAAAA!
The team led by patient Thomas D. are now preparing national championship tournament which will be in Chicago at the end of May. Kaplan Orthodontics sends huge congratulations and wishes the entire DHS academic team luck for their next competition!

I have been helping my mom a lot

Here’s what’s going on with Maggie A:
Maggie got all A’s on her last report card.
She also began Brownies this year… Dunwoody troop # 14581 (mom is asst Brownie leader)
Her artwork was chosen to be displayed at the State Capitol where she was invited to meet State Legislators. See attached pic.
Maggie is in 2nd grade at Austin Elementary School
I will be having my Children’s book published soon which will be my 5th overall book published. I am very excited about it. The name of the book is called “Why All God’s Children Eat Cereal.” I would love to leave a few copies at your office for the kids once it comes out, “my gift to Kaplan Orthodontics.’
Also, still running almost every weekend. Will be running another 10k this weekend and an ultra relay event of close to 200 miles in April.
Seminary school at Candler/Emory is going great. I never read so much in my life, but I guess that’s part of the calling to follow the voice of God.
Jessica and her band, “No Komment”, came in second place this year at the Atlanta Blues Challenge. Jessica plays guitar and sings; her younger brother Justin is the drummer.

They will be performing at Atlanta Jewish Music Festival’s Family Fun Day at the JCC On Sunday March 23 2014
They will also be raising money and performing in the 500 Songs for Kids event in late April/early May.

Nina has been busy in the cold weather this spring. She won the 10 and under division at this years Tartan Trot 10K Road Race. I know Dr Kaplan was a sponsor of that event.
Last weekend, (March 2014) Nina competed in the Cupcake 15K Road Race in Cumming. She finished fourth overall of all females 24 and under.
